Islands are considered as showing a weakness in any line wherever they may be found.


1. Under the Index Finger
The islands found in the beginning of the head line under Jupiter mount, indicate a delicate mentality, no desire to study and listlessness  in the person's early life, especially before 21 years of age.


2. Under Second finger
The islands on head line under mount of saturn below the middle finger indicate severe headache, melancholy, and inflammation especially at the base of the head, however the degree of severeness won't be extreme if rectangle is present around it. The time will be between 21-42 years age, life line and fate line will give the accurate time for it.

3. Island under Third FingerIsland on head line under sun mount represents weakness of eyes and short-sight. It usually indicates the time within 42-63 years age.
4. Islands under fourth fingerThey represent weakness of brain in old age and a highly nervous worrying disposition. If other lines are bad, it this may lead to insanity.
